About me

I am an urban sustainability professional with a deep passion for cities as dynamic, living systems where humanity shapes its own future. My academic journey reflects this passion - I hold an MSc in Global Change Management from Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development (Germany) and a BSc in Urban and Regional Planning from Istanbul Technical University (Turkey).
Professionally, I have worked across various fields of sustainability, including event management in a local government network, sustainability knowledge platform development at a climate tech startup, and research at an urban institute. Through these roles, I have engaged with diverse stakeholders to drive urban transformation and foster knowledge-sharing.

My expertise lies in urban sustainability and systems thinking, which guided my master’s thesis on Nature-Based Solutions in European urban areas and how to mainstream them from a Deep Leverage Points perspective.

I strive to transform cities into thriving spaces where all living beings can coexist harmoniously, both now and in the future. As a systems thinker, I enjoy identifying complex relationships, fostering collaboration, and developing innovative, holistic solutions for urban challenges.

Beyond my professional interests, I love spending time in nature, exploring diverse cultures and cuisines.
