"The New Urban Agenda" is an action-oriented document that mobilizes Member States and other key stakeholders to drive sustainable urban development at the local level.

I learned about four dimensions of Sustainable Urban Development:

  • Social sustainability: gender-equal planning, planning for minorities and people with special needs,

  • Economic sustainability: labor creation,

  • Environmental sustainability: climate change mitigation and adaptation

  • Spatial sustainability: equity,
with their principles as well as actions to implement and accelerate them.

Two weeks project took place in Austria with the participants from 8 different countries. I have participated in the Germany group by the sponsorship of "Kulturlabor Trial&Error" NGO . The project aimed to create innovative solutions to social and environmental issues with the perspective of sustainability.
